National Charity League

The National Charity League (NCL) is a multi-generational non-profit organization dedicated to community service and leadership development for mothers and their daughters in grades 7–12. Founded in 1925, its primary mission is to foster the mother-daughter bond while empowering young women to become socially aware community leaders.

The organization’s “NCL Experience” is built on three core pillars: 

  1. Philanthropy – Members engage in hands-on volunteer work with over 6,000 local and national charities
  2. Leadership – Members develop essential skills through board positions, public speaking, and project management, empowering young women to lead with confidence and purpose in their communities.
  3. Culture – Members explore diverse cultural perspectives through art, theater, and etiquette, fostering a sense of community, grace, and an appreciation for the traditions that connect generations.

Young Men’s Service League

The Young Men’s Service League (YMSL) is a national organization that provides opportunities for mothers and sons to serve together, offering a four-year structured program similar to NCL, often focusing on annual philanthropy projects known as the “Ultimate Gift”.
